Mit dem j\u00fcngsten Abstieg in die Oberliga haben die SVF-Volleyballer einen sportlichen Tiefpunkt erreicht. Jetzt gibt es wieder Hoffnung.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der sportliche Niedergang der Volleyballer des SV Fellbach in den vergangenen Jahren l\u00e4sst sich ganz gut an Distanzen festmachen: In der Saison 2019\/2020 ging es in der dritten Bundesliga S\u00fcd f\u00fcr das \u201eRote Rudel\u201c zum weitesten Ausw\u00e4rtsspiel noch 300 Kilometer weit bis kurz vor die Tore von Bonn nach Feldkirchen. Vergangene Saison in der Regionalliga waren es dann immerhin noch 200 Kilometer einfache Strecke, die das Team um das Trainergespann Alexandra Berger und Mario Maser bis nach Emmendingen \u2013 kurz vor der Schweizer Grenze gelegen \u2013 fahren musste. Nach dem neuerlichen Abstieg in diesem Fr\u00fchjahr in die Oberliga kommen die Gegner des zweimaligen Meisters der Zweiten Bundesliga (2015 und 2016) nun ausschlie\u00dflich aus dem w\u00fcrttembergischen Verbandsgebiet. 65 Kilometer sind es bis nach Rottenburg, wo allerdings nicht mehr die erste Mannschaft der Domst\u00e4dter wie in der dritten Liga, sondern nur noch die zweite Garde als Gegner wartet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginnen wird die neue Spielzeit in der elf Teams umfassenden f\u00fcnfth\u00f6chsten Spielklasse f\u00fcr das Fellbacher Ensemble am Wochenende 7.\/8. Oktober mit dem Gastspiel bei der SG MADS Ostalb in Aalen. Eine Woche sp\u00e4ter stellt sich dann der SSV Gei\u00dfelhardt in der G\u00e4u\u00e4ckerhalle I vor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start der Vorbereitung ist bereits am 4. Juli, im August wird es dann noch eine kleine Pause geben, ehe es nach den Schulsommerferien ernst wird. \u201eWir haben mit dem Abstieg in die Oberliga zweifellos den sportlichen Tiefpunkt erreicht. Von jetzt an k\u00f6nnen wir positiv nach vorn schauen. Unser Ziel ist es, gleich um den Wiederaufstieg mitzuspielen\u201c, sagt der Abteilungsleiter Mario Maser. Der 29-J\u00e4hrige hat sich aus dem Trainerduo mit Alexandra Berger verabschiedet und will k\u00fcnftig wieder die eigenen Eins\u00e4tze auf dem Spielfeld in den Mittelpunkt seines Wirkens stellen. Die A-Lizenz-Inhaberin Alexandra Berger ihrerseits hat derweil ihre eigene Spielerkarriere bei den Regionalliga-Frauen beendet und konzentriert sich fortan voll auf den Trainerjob bei den M\u00e4nnern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dass die beiden Verantwortlichen zurzeit ziemlich gut gelaunt sind, liegt vor allem an den \u201e\u00fcberwiegend positiven Gespr\u00e4chen\u201c, die sie in den vergangenen Wochen mit Spielern bei der Zusammenstellung ihres Kaders gemacht haben. Hatte es vor einem Jahr gerade einmal neun Akteure gegeben, die f\u00fcr die Spielzeit in der Regionalliga fest zugesagt hatten, sind es jetzt, vor dem Start in der Oberliga, schon deren 13. Mindestens zwei bis drei Kr\u00e4fte sollen noch dazukommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
